Yes I believe you now must register to get the download. When I used the site registration was not required.

I used the update on both my HD-A1 and XA1 from the site without any problems.

You could download version 2.0 from here (slow site) http://www.1080x1920.net/index.php?o...gid=4&Itemid=5 then use Nero to burn an image file to CDR (don't use a CD-RW).
