Buffy: Season 7 or... When will Fox stop spoiling the series?

Which is another problem I had with that season. There was too much time wasted on the potentials. I wouldn't have minded the shift... but then we also didn't get to know them either. I honestly didn't give a damn about any of them because we didn't get to see their development, except for...

Buffy: Season 7 or... When will Fox stop spoiling the series?

But season 2's monster of the week episodes had stories. The episodes of Buffy from season 7 almost ALL related to the story arc, but nothing happened in them. I'd rather watch Go Fish and I Only Have Eyes For You than a lot of the middle of season 7 any day.

Buffy: Season 7 or... When will Fox stop spoiling the series?

Honestly, I lost interest. I would work Tuesdays sometimes and come home that night and totally forget I missed it. I'd catch up on Friday with a friend's tape and be bored DURING it. Eventually I would wait a month then watch four in a row... which felt like one episode occurred.

Buffy: Season 7 or... When will Fox stop spoiling the series?

Exactly, episodes 8-18 start off feeling like they're going to go somewhere... but nothing of interest occurs. Some of the plot points are just ridiculous, and it feels like "Next week this is going to get huge!" then you get another episode of everyone sitting around Buffy's poorly lit...

Regarding the potentials, in the next season of Angel (season 5) this idea is actually touched upon on the next season of Angel. One particular young girl is activated and is not mentally stable. The rebuilding of the new watchers council is also touched upon.

Not to mention that kennedy and willow had ZERO chemistry onscreen. I mean... Willow just didn't mesh with her, and looked awkward during the kissing scenes. She and Amber benson however oozed chemsitry and it was just perfect how each actress played off each other.

Buffy: Season 7 or... When will Fox stop spoiling the series?

Not to mention, I don't know about you guys, but I don't think my family could afford to just pack up and leave our house behind... we'd be relying on the money from SELLING out house to buy the next one... Also, didn't Sunnydale have an area near the water... cause in season 2 Buffy and...

Buffy: Season 7 or... When will Fox stop spoiling the series?

But it's not a plot mistake. The line should move through Faith. Buffy died in Prophecy girl, activating Kendra. Kendra died, activating Faith. Buffy is therefore a "mistake" in the slayer line. The line didn't split in two, she just passed it to Faith. So a new slayer shouldn't be called...

Buffy: Season 7 or... When will Fox stop spoiling the series?

I think it was just a plot hole they didn't think of, which is unfortunate, cause they usually were so careful. Buffy's death (assuming the line still did run through her) would have activated a new slayer in "Villains" as well, considering she flat-lined at one point. So it's a very safe bet...

Buffy: Season 7 or... When will Fox stop spoiling the series?

Very simple. Have a chapter set afterwards, so you can skip it if you want.

Except some people never watched these on TV, and the boxsets are their first looks. It's spoiling it for them.
