There are various lists for every person. Whether a person gets trolled is kind of up to them.

Not really, they got me to watch this movie which isn’t something that I’m actively hoping to watch.

I think those four films you named had a significant influence on the Art of Cinema.

Last night, I did watch most of those extras that were on the Criterion Channel. I haven't finished that hour long documentary yet, but will do so in the near future. Watching those extras did help me to appreciate the length of the film more so than before I started to watch the movie.

After watching Jeanne Dielman 23 in its entirety, I can truthfully say in my opinion that this shouldn't have been voted the greatest film ever made, even with an ending that might have been shocking to some people. With that said, it's a really good film, but it's overrated in that movie poll...

Both of those films are excellent movies! However, I don't need to see them again due to their subject matter and their depressing theme.

Yup, those two films are rough for me too. I doubt I'll ever watch 12 Years a Slave again.

You got that right! I never want to revisit those two films again.

That's why film appreciation is a subjective process.

It's about the only break I got with that film. Like I said, I haven't watched it since the DVD came out. I never bother to upgrade to Blu-ray. Now, if it came out on 4K disc, I might try to watch it again which would be my third view.

None of those movies are in "Paths of Glory" class so I think we can agree to disagree on that point.

Hell, Barry Lyndon leaves me cold, so much so I haven’t watched it in over 20 years. By the way, if you think The Shining is too long, I hate to see what you think of Barry Lyndon.:)

Paths of Glory doesn’t leave me cold because it’s a reminder that war is stupidly.

I would substitute both movies with Paths of Glory.
