Now really because it’s just another example of how the industry has screwed up this home video format. Their incompetence and lack of customer service is appalling to say the least.
You can do that, but I got two blu-rays from Kino on Thursday, who's release date is next Tuesday. I've since watched both of them. At this time, there are supply issues with every retailer regarding physical media.
Currently, that's not the case for me. My orders once they shipped from DD, Kino, Amazon and BB orders have pretty much reached me the same amount of time as before the pandemic. That wasn't the case 5-6 months ago, but currently I haven't had items items delayed once they shipped in the last...
For me, last December/January was that way, but not now. I got my recent order with Battle Hymn and Horizons West on May 6th after it shipped on May 3rd.
I've seen them in movie theaters and have little memory of what the color was back then. IMO, I think most people don't remember what a movie looked like in a movie theater, especially decades ago. Hell, many of them can't remember what it looked like last week in a movie theater.:)
