Sorry, but once my 4K disc arrives, I'm going to watch the entire movie and then decide for myself whether I'm happy with it. I'll leave all of that comparison stuff to other people.

One person is saying it's unusually grainy and another is saying it's degrained too much.

It's not only the age of the movie, but what film stock was used during filming.

Such complaints does lead to DNR and at times, their overzealous use of it.

Target is having a "buy 2, get 1 free" sale so I was able to pre-order this 4K disc and used a gift card to get it for $12.77 tax included.

I have three working players. Two are HDXA2 players with one that never left the box. The third player is HDA35 that I might have played a couple of times back when I received it. Talk about a waste of money.:rolleyes: Luckily, I'm not married, otherwise, I would have been in trouble.;)

Hell, I got HD-DVD player that's never been out of its box.

You shouldn't be as many people don't have issues with excessive DNR nor if a movie doesn't look like film on disc.
