Interesting that both of you are in Michigan have opposite experiences. I live in mid-Michigan and for the most part, I think Amazon doing their own deliveries has been pretty good on my orders.
Well, I have my own Amazon story to tell, I'm not really pissed, but more like perplexed by what I received. I suppose to receive two Blu-rays today. Instead, I received a Niagara Falls puzzle and bag of men socks. I knew something was up when I saw how large the package was on my...
IMO, if you order your video product from other retailers and Amazon is no longer your first choice then the Prime membership might not be a good purchase especially if you don't utilize services like Prime Video, Prime Music and those are similar services. They clipped me this year, but I've...
Packages arriving late is one thing, but this type of situation is even worse as well as dangerous.

Right, the same thing happened to me this weekend with Apple in which the scam call said I shouldn't use any of my Apple devices and to call them. I got 15-20 calls between Saturday and Sunday.
Finally, my copy of "The War of the Worlds" Blu-ray made it to my local USPS facility. It took from June 6th to June 25th, in order to travel about 75 miles. Now, I wonder how long will it take my local USPS facility to deliver my Blu-ray?
There is no other to ship as that Blu-ray is out-of-stock and they've been canceling orders for this import disc. I guess, I'm a little more forgiving than some of you.
You think you're pissed, I have "The War of the Worlds" Blu-ray missing in the USPS system. It shipped on June 4th and arrived in Detroit on June 6th. It's June 22nd and it's still in Detroit. This was a Deep Discount shipment so it's not just Amazon.
I'm sorry you feel that way, but, I think Josh's comments were meant for somebody else due to these words "fed up". Either way, it's best all of us chill and stop snapping at each other's comments.
By the way, Amazon has discontinued their delivery service in the States. It's still available in the UK.

So now we've move on from "digital vs. physical media" to "3-D conspiracy theories". Maybe, it's just me, but this thread doesn't have to go off the rails discussing two subject matters that have been discussed "ad nauseam" in various threads.
Come on guys, we already have enough threads talking about "digital vs. physical media". We all know where the entertainment market is heading without having to repeat our individual POV in various threads. Thank you.
Amazon has stopped video products trade-in which means you can't trade-in old DVDs, Blu-rays or 4K/UHD discs to them for what gift card value they would offer in return of those items. Luckily, this happened after I trade-in The Night Stalker/The Night Strangler and The Old Dark House DVDs...
IMO, the problem with Amazon deliveries isn't USPS, but Amazon itself with delayed shipping dates. Once the package is in USPS hands just about all of my orders are delivered to me within 48 hours.
Case in point, I ordered "Ghost in the Shell" 3-D disc this past Friday at 3:08 p.m. and I...
Record profits for Amazon. I remember when they were losing money and now they're so huge, many of their customers are getting crappy service.
