A good point. I just finished watching "The Force Awakens" again. I hope in "The Rise of Skywalker" they not only address Rey's heritage, but how she seem so advance in "The Force" so quickly.
My uneducated opinion doesn't have to fair. That's what this forum is for to express your opinion whether it's fair or not. I'm hoping I don't have to wait three years to find out this answer. It's the number one question going forward for most of us.
I never take that tact when a film I find not that good is highly praised by others. I just chalk it up to me having a different appreciation of this particular film versus the majority that loves such a film. It's not like something is wrong with them and I'm right about my opinion on that film.
IMO, after seeing it for the fifth time today, I think The Force sensed her presence and her role in what was to become, therefore, they felt it. Also, The Force sensed here again when Luke's Light Saber called for her at Maz's place. Furthermore, even though, they didn't show it, Luke...
Another thing, I paid close attention to the scene when Snoke tells Ren that there has been an awakening. I think that was our first clue to Rey's identity.
After watching it for the fifth and final time in a movie theater, I would be very disappointed if she was a Solo. IMO, she has to be Luke's daughter based on what was said in this film. There are just too many hints in this film to make any other scenario plausible in my estimation. In the...
Maybe so, but I think some of those movies sold more tickets during their first theatrical run. With that said, it's a different time and things have changed as far as how people spend their entertainment dollars versus how they did in those yesteryears.
I take such comments with a grain of salt. The internet is a great thing and gives people an opportunity to support or bash whatever they please. In the end, it's mainly subjective opinion in which many of us differ so no big deal to me. I have my opinion and everybody else has theirs.
As I pointed out earlier in this thread, I think her pausing there is a signal about her past. Like she just remembered being at that particular place beforehand.
At this point in his life, he doesn't owe the fans anything to behave in such a manner. If I was him, I say f*** them after how many fans have said such nasty things about him over the years.
I thought he didn't have any children. If I'm mistaken, I still have some empathy for him as I know Lucas is now Public Enemy #1 to some people.
Edit: I see he adopted some kids, but the youngest one might be his biological kid. Anyhow, he needs to move on from Star Wars. I do wonder if...
I think it's easier for someone like us to say that, than to actually do it as a person/creator of a work of art. It's too bad Lucas never had any kids and possibly grandchildren by now besides these films. As a mature man to some extent :), without any children of my own, I sense some empathy...
