Walter,
However, I found the team kind of lacking in numbers to combat different adversaries at the same time. Both of the detectives have their day jobs so Reese really needs a partner/backup that is not confine to a computer like Finch or as NYC Detectives. It gives them other options...
If you buy into the machine monitoring all cameras and phone and computer conversations then coming up with the SS # of people who might be in danger then how can you not accept the premise of last night?
By the way, a great final episode. Do we need anymore confirmation that Root is nuts. Looks like the team is assembled for whatever lies ahead of them coming next season.
Will Root help save the machine? There are hints to that or some other computer knowledge-based former POI helping the team save the machine from that virus.
Great episode last night as the arcs of a couple of characters have interwined. I really hope by the time this season is completed, they can bring some closure to certain plot elements. I'm sick and tired of the HR scheme. I guess the Machine being in constant danger will be part of the plot...
I didn't notice anything wrong with the picture. I like how Shaw is back because they need reinforcements due to fighting more than one enemy at the same time.
I doubt it because they mentioned Agent Shaw as to whether Harold has heard anything from her. Also, they talked about the computer virus that Kara uploaded into the government computer system.

I think it's more to do with them needing a female operative like Reese as they expand their protection schemes and the possible need for more than one weapon expert.
Good news for those that like Shahi as Shaw.

POI was #2 in TV ratings last week. Granted, the two NCIS series had reruns, but besides Big Bang, POI appears to be #4 when it comes to regular network shows in regard to ratings as American Idol regularly appears behind POI. Crawdaddy
Same here, the best episode of the series. Also, Acker is perfect for her role of Root. Not a badass, but a brilliant mind with stated crossed up wiring.
I can see them bringing back Shaw, but I can see them getting her to be more thoughtful of other people. Perhaps, somebody she becomes...
First off, she didn't make a move to the car door, but instead towards the back seat towards Snow. Furthermore, I'm pretty sure the FBI guy told Carter they identified the remains of Kara and Snow.
Just remember, the Chinese giving Kara, Finch's name doesn't necessarily mean he's the one that sold the laptop. It could be the Chinese way of using Kara to eliminate Harold as a potential threat to their plans. Crawdaddy
Not one of their best episodes, but they at least attempted to give some personal romantic time to characters beyond John. It kind of personalizes and illustrates the lonely life all of those characters have been living while doing their line of work.

Hey, if you guys want to make that connection, it's fine with me. However, for me, the connections to Batman don't have much depth. Sure, they operate outside the law to protect the innocent, but they need to have money and advanced technology to finance and help them to fight such crimes...
I get it now because it's a Nolan that created and helps write this series people are making the jump to the Batman connection because of a few similarities. IMO that's not fair to the creativity of Nolan.
