There is a favorite scene in "King of Kings" between that Mel Gibson would use in a similar fashion in "The Passion of the Christ" involving . Both scenes are extremely moving to me.

The Ten Commandments has been shown on network TV for many, many years which has kept it relevant to the general public here in the States.

It came out on Blu-ray when Warner was the distributor of Paramount titles. It was released on the same day as "The Ten Commandments" on March 29, 2011. So it was overshadowed by that film, even though, it's a better film in my opinion, but, it less known.
