My comments have nothing to do with Cooper, but just a fact about Wayne and the amount of units that are sold due to his name value.

There is a good reason why every studio that has John Wayne titles tries to release them onto dvd and that reason is that they sell very well. Crawdaddy

Just because it's a DVD Decision nominee that doesn't mean any restoration has been completed or even started for that matter. Warner might have located the necessary film elements with perhaps some knowledge of their present condition, but I wouldn't assume any restoration work has been done...

Richard, With Bonnie and Clyde having it's 40th Anniversary along with Cool Hand Luke, I can't see Warner letting that opportunity go by without doing something similar to what's planned for the latter.
