I have the same player as you with the 11-19-07 firmware update and can play all three of those BRDs. I watched the entired Superbad BRD and sampled every chapter on those other two releases without any problems. Perhaps, you have a bad player, can you play any BRD? Crawdaddy

It might not be an issue with BD50 discs, so it would be nice if Fox and the other studios start giving us more material so they can use all of that storage. Crawdaddy

Yes, it was a low budget film for its time and you can tell in some of the scenes. Like you, I'm not returning anything as I hope HD media entertainment really takes off and let the best format win. Crawdaddy

I watched "The Terminator" in its entirety. I have to agree with Bill Hunt that the presentation was good, but it wasn't outstanding, yet it's still a big improvement over dvd. I did notice that some film grain was present, but it wasn't nearly as much as I'd remembered from prior viewings...

I have those same discs on their way to me. I should have them tomorrow, but the really good news is that I'll have my amp back this afternoon. I'll be having some fun this evening hooking up that 90 lb monster.:) Crawdaddy

Why, I never noticed the layer changes on the HD DVD player? By the way, I have the Denon 2900 and it can't touch either player in my opinion. Crawdaddy
