Colin, Maybe, I should have rephrase my comments more clearly as I was comparing Columbia's high pricing of dvds then to what the other studios are pricing today. Paramount has dropped their pricing significantly since 2003. They have basically cut their MSRP in half from $29.99 to $14.99 over...

The earlier Columbia titles are high priced compared to most other studios like Paramount, Fox, Universal, MGM and Warner. A couple of other Capra films from Columbia like Mr. Deeds and It Happened One Night are $5-8 less than Mr. Smith.
