I just picked up the first 7 discs of Yu Yu Hakusho and the 1st disc of Detective Conan (which'll probably be the only disc I'll buy, for the premiere/setup episode).... $40 in the 2 for 10 bin. w00t! ;)

Fact is, if you want to see 2D animation... there are no more companies in the US putting it out. Korea and Japan are the only two countries producing it, and with more and more Japanese outsourcing, it is looking like Korea will become the center of the animation world in the next decade or so.

FMA is one story going across 50 episodes, while there are some lighter moments, I would say the show leans more towards the dark elements of alchemy (parts of the show are REALLY dark).
