So what I'm getting out of this is, you didn't get into DVD for the love of film, but for how good it sounds? I love DTS, but I got some mono movies and I don't mind them at all. Most important thing on the disc is how good the movie is.

Paul, I am not influenced by reviews or other people's opinion. When I first got my home theater, I really couldn't tell a difference between the two. So I really didn't care. I disagree completely. From my experience, DTS tracks are almost always clearer, more expanisive with better channel seperation and better bass response. That's just me.

I'm very high on DTS, but I don't absolutely have to have it.
