So what I'm getting out of this is, you didn't get into DVD for the love of film, but for how good it sounds? I love DTS, but I got some mono movies and I don't mind them at all. Most important thing on the disc is how good the movie is.

I disagree completely. From my experience, DTS tracks are almost always clearer, more expanisive with better channel seperation and better bass response. That's just me.
