It's hard to believe, but I can believe it. Some people are so emotionaly invested in it, and some just want to crow that they picked the right side so can think their gonads are bigger than anyone elses. I think a lot of insults were flung with little or no thought on both sides, peoples...

I can think of a forum where there are some viscious arguments going on over the Iraq War, Modern Politics and other similar topics. Throw in a few accusations of "Closet Nazis", among other things... This here ain't nothin!!!

And grudges will be held for a while by some unfortunately.

I think we all now it's decided they will throw in the towel, but the details of how they will pull out are still uinknown and that is what the meetings will decide.

I hope HTF stays neutral. It's more welcoming that way to all.

Most of those articles are pure speculation. Until Toshiba decides themselves, and that's most likely what the rumored board meetings are about, nothing is certain.

Absolutely! Just because the better quality is that important to those of us here, it isn't, nore does it have to be for others. Different priorities for different people.

"No one should be sold a soon-to-be obsolete format." I'll buy one for a spare and for some of the, hopefully, clearance priced movies. So will a lot of people I suspect.
