That was my first VHS machine too! Sold it over 30 years ago, but I'll bet it's still working. I even have some 40 year old VHS tapes (RCA blanks) that still play fine. T-120's cost $27.50 each back in 1981 (IF you could find them!)
I hate to say it because it shows my age.... But.... You had to be there.
Just like when Goldfinger came out in 1964. Very few people even knew what a laser was back then. Never mind having one being used as a weapon by Goldfinger to almost cut James Bond in half! I'm sure the entire audience...
I still think my recent hernia was exacerbated by this film! it just took 40 more years for the belly laughs over the years to finally take their toll. :lol:
