Hello all,
Sorry I haven't been keeping up here at HTF.. like David Lambert said, I am a bit busy dealing with some things here (not in school just yet, UW doesn't start until Oct 1!), but I did just get a cable modem installed so it'll be easier to browse more forums. Been monitoring cnn.com...
I talked to Josh at WHV today, and he said that he doesn't know yet whether Cats & Dogs and also Lord Of The Rings will be in widescreen. He said that he's hoping to find out by the end of this week. I will try getting in touch with him again then.
Hello!
I'm not home yet, but I found some computers to check my email and the latest DVD news..
Glad I saw David Lambert's post about calling Josh.. I will certainly do so.
I'm not sure if this has been confirmed yet, but I just got an email from WB, and Wonka will be anamorphic. No word...
Well, after an evening and night of speculating whether you all would forever brand me as a joker or the originator of a cruel hoax, I'm glad to see that the widescreen version is a success (and hopefully will do well in sales!). I'm off now for a weekend at The Gorge to see Dave Matthews Band...
Please do NOT email Josh Sabarra. I mistakenly posted his email address here when we were trying to figure out if it was a hoax, and he requested this morning that his email address not be distriburted.
Thank you
I just spoke to Josh Sabarra, and he confirmed that this widescreen version is truly coming out on November 13.
He didn't know how the rumors that he said he iddn't know about the press release got started. Basically, he confirmed that it was being released, and he also said that he didn't...
Good morning.
I have been trying to call Josh Sabarra at WHV, but he isn't in the office yet this morning. I will keep trying.
However, I did call Jennifer Tom from Edelman Entertainment Marketing. For those of you who look in the press release Word document properties, you'll see that the...
I will update again tomorrow morning, after I try to call Josh again. Peter Bracke, of DVDFile, just emailed me and told me that it WAS Josh who he talked to earlier today, and that he haddn't a clue about the whole situation. I have yet to actually talk to him, as he and I have only heard...
Well, I'm not "important" to the rest of the world, but I was the one that created, printed, and sent out the Willy Wonka DVD petition. I included my email address and phone number in the cover letter that was enclosed with the petition.
Well, to update. Here are the message headers from the email I receieved. I hate to say it, but they smell kind of fishy.

edited to delete headers. Not a hoax!

I just got home to news of this supposed fake.
Here is what I know:I received an email, appearing to be from Josh Sabarra (Manager of Publicity, WHV). The email was sent to an email address of mine which I have not provided here on HTF or on DVDTalk, nor on the petition. The only place I had...
First of all, sorry about all the duplicate posts. I was having some DNS troubles, and I never got a confirmation screen that the message was posted.
Second, I have emailed and called the manager of publicity at WHV (the one that initially emailed and called me) asking if the release will be...
I am so excited to be able to post this!
I just got an email from Josh Sabrra, Manager of Publicity at Warner Home Video. He included a media release which I will paste here. It speaks for itself.
All I have to say is thank you to everybody that signed the petition, called, wrote, and made...
