    Lost: Season Six

I will admit one of the more amusing notions I did like is found in the after life coda- The thought that Keamy is destined to meet one abruptly truncated miserable end after another until , I assume, he reaches some state of grace and is allowed insight into his state and with that coming the...

    Lost: Season Six

a few more random thoughts as the effect of the finale ebbs away and the complete form of the series as a whole starts to coalesce in my imagination - as more time passes, I'm becoming more disappointed by the way this show chose to wrap itself up- and in this sense I'm including the...

    Lost: Season Six

Bah- immaterial. Once you start resolving things with "the wizard made it happen", putting forth any effort on making any one specific element fit in the whole logically, starts to look really silly.

just found an interesting post by someone claiming to be one of the Bad Robot writing staff http://lostmediamentions.blogspot.com/2010/05/someone-from-bad-robots-take-on-finale.html I have problems with some of it- especially the first half discussion dealing with the resolution of the...

    Lost: Season Six

To me this looks like another attempt at symbolism or metaphor that, like much of the show in retrospect, doesn't jell. What both characters have at this point in narrative time is still too much baggage. I guess you would have to have faith that Cuse and Lindelof are trying to be ironic here...

    Lost: Season Six

Had to wait to see it on Hulu, then had to read the last 5 pages or so of this thread- so many good observations mixed in with a lot of back and forth over a point that seems maddeningly obvious (frankly this thread is a purgatory that I can't seem to move past just yet). Cried like a baby...

Not saying this would be a satisfactory explanation, but it would be some explanation -although the un-Locke would probably have to be the one to deliver it, or embellish the information that Ben could provide- Jacob could have told MiB some oblique gobbly de gook about his replacement...

    Lost: Season Six

Well, so many of these characters, especially Jacob, came from single parent upbringings that leaving one parent to raise a child seems like it would be a reasonable compromise from Jacobs perspective. The cave list was made according to his values, not the consensus of the viewers. also at...

from that list, these are the ones that bug me the most What was with those Egyptian symbols that appeared in the Hatch when the countdown went past 108 minutes? That didn't seem like the Dharma Initiative's style. I agree that this makes little sense and seems like a big continuity cock-up...

    Lost: Season Six

I can accept the Lobby Christian that appears to Jack is a drug induced hallucination manifested from his internal conflict over going back to the island. That is one question/mystery that doesn't bother me at all. I didn't make note of the whispers on the boat when that Christian appeared...

    Lost: Season Six

Ok, first off- I don't have a problem (at the moment) with all the shiny, magic metaphor stuff from Across The Sea. I can accept, for example, the light in the cave as symbolic and the value to it is not knowing what exactly it is, but rather what it means to the characters. So at this...
