John, thanks for remembering and for posting about this. I've ordered the R2, a bit baffled that MGM would release it MARred in R1 when they have an OAR transfer available.

All movies should be seen OAR of course, but there's an especially compelling reason why this one should be: It was shot by the brilliant Gordon Willis (Klute, The Godfather, Manhattan, Zelig, The Parallax View, etc)
