I'm very undemanding when it comes to MP3, I just burn them to a CD, and that's the extent of it. I just let it play on and on until I get tired of the songs on that disc. I don't travel enough to worry about books-on-tape/mp3. :)

Ah, thanks for the link. It appears the deck to get is the Kenwood 8017, it appears to get the good reviews from users who have lived with this model.

I'm getting tired of having a tape deck in the car. Are there any good car decks for CD/MP3 playback with decent power 4x40W/channel that are worth recommending? My budget, around $200 or less (maybe $250 if the deck is the bomb). It'd be going into a Honda Civic '94. TIA.
