Ugh. That whole Sylar/Nathan imprinting just left a bad taste to my mouth. At least that tear from Tracy proved life-affirming after all (as I had suspected).
It's like watching molasses rolling downhill, this show. Just glad this season is almost over, as I'm not sure if I'll be watching it next season (or relegate it to low-low priority viewing).
Wow, that was one poorly directed episode of Heroes in its 3 seasons so far. Plus the "conflict" dialogue between Parkman and Mohinder was laughably and badly written.
The pacing is better in this new chapter because these characters don't spend time with a lot of existential angst, and just are running for their lives. It's sort of fun, but there needs to be some cohesive response to being hunted, else, this show will be spinning its wheels in the wrong...
Sylar is so much more fun when he's menacing and f'-ing with people. The team-up of Sylar and Microwave Boy is an odd coupling, but I recognize MW Boy from "Aliens in America". Why do they insist on having Hayden wearing that wig? What is wrong with her real hair? The whole Parkman...
I thought it was okay, though scenes still sort of drag when they play out. The scene with Hiro and his mom was the main highlight of the episode. Sylar cutting people open again, now he's just showing off. So, is it definitive, Elle is all burnt to a crisp?
I'm still wondering if HRG was getting off watching Sylar and Elle bump uglies during the eclipse (as he did not instigate coitus interruptus), and whether it was a really long eclipse, or Sylar just suffered from P.E.
At least I didn't regret the 42+ minutes watching tonight's episode. I think there was actually one scene where Claire had her real hair (all the other scenes featured her in the wig yet again). Buh-bye Elle.
Pure conjecture based on NBC's penchant for cost-cutting and shutting down shows that don't bring in the viewers. It's simple economics, plus ratings performance that is simply dwindling, not maintaining viewership, but rather shedding viewers based on uninteresting and/or confusing storylines...
With the ratings slipping and slipping (now down in the 7.5 million range), Heroes will either need to be scaled back in terms of cast and cost, or it won't be renewed for a 4th season.
I think fans of the show really want to see if the creative team pull this show out of its doldrums, if that means paring down the cast for the different volumes, that's a step in the right direction, and then focus on character development within the framework of people dealing with their...
I could have done without with the Elle-Gabe power foreplay, plus Quinto's acting is pretty poor in his scenes with KBell. I'll miss the foreheard slice. Mohinder's scenes drag on and on. Lines are now drawn in the sand, though we don't know where Hiro and Ando went. Solar eclipses...
I am ambivalent, though it was nice to see Kristen Bell get many scenes in this one, though I just don't know if I buy Elle being stable enough to pull off the "seduction" scenes.
Well, at least the writers decided to go for a bit of comedy to break up the overbearing apocalyptical tone this show has been burdened with this season. The second half was better than the first half, and finally given the viewers some traction into the players in this drama.
Well, the pacing is so scatter-shot in an attempt to ramp up the tension, but it just fails to entertain. I really hope they have a decent sized rabbit they'll be pulling out of a hat because these future "possible" storylines continue to lack dramatic weight and consequence. Perhaps the...
Right, because when Nathan makes his announcment, Claire might have undertook another course of action, either by her own volition or someone shows or calls her to get out of the house and Odessa.
The tone of last night's episode was all over the map. Sylar as a them, though stepfordized, brought a few laughs, but his power lust still remains a primal driving force for him. Hiro/Ando/Nemesis brought more muted chuckles. So how many of these Nikki/Jessica/Tracy siblings are...
One possibility is that when Nathan makes his announcement, Claire high-tails it out of there because she goes to find cover from possible witchhunt for the "heroes". Or she could have gotten a call from one of HRG's operatives who is looking out for her and convinces her to high-tail it out Odessa.
Sadly, the show is far too dark and albeit depressing in their attempts to be edgy in telling stories of people with super-powers. They need to squash the time travelling angle, it just produces too many loop-de-loops in storytelling that gives writers a too-convenient reset button when they...
