The clips "finale" has to go down in reality TV history as one of the lamest things ever for a penultimate episode. I skipped Will and Jason's short films, but did re-watch Adam's short films.
Project Greenlight was fun to watch. Unfortunately, OTL decided to focus on the selection process of who would get the prize (the budget/resources) to do a film, and not the filmmaking process.
An elimination shocker! Zach went home (but this didn't really surprise me as you are only as good as your last effort on most of these call-in-vote reality shows), and we were left with Will, Sam, Jason, and Adam. Sam - just didn't hit the right balance in tone between "Saw" and "9-to-5"...
I didn't like the ending to Zach's film, it left me with an 'eh' feeling. Hilary's film was okay, could have had 1-2 more laughs, and a less obtrusive framing (to indicate an old western look). Will's film went on too long, and ended with the paper-scissors-rock ending from the Bud Light...
Mateen's short was tailor-made to be shot from the driver's POV for its entirety. I saw it as Mateen's personal horror story, something that frightens him in everyday life, but he over-reached at the very end. Shira-Lee's was not interesting at all, simply boring and a poor attempt at the...
Brain puppetry was too gross to be univerally funny and appealing. Man on top/Woman on top/wrestling was just boring and dumb. The sperm bank heist was a good idea, but the execution was so-so. Crabby father-in-law getting anally scoped definitely appealed to anyone with a crabby...
I was a little tired when I watched my recording of tonight's episode, but I actually fell asleep during Shalini's short film (and it was only 3 minutes), but I did rewind it to finish it, and still felt ambivalent about it. Dough was the more entertaining film, but Gary was right in that it...
Adrianna Costa reminds me of a brunette Scarlett Johansson. I do like the concept of this show in terms of showing us the finished product and getting rid of the butting heads "drama", but some behind-the-scenes footage could prove to be entertaining.
