    RESCUE ME (ongoing discussion)

"Sanctuary" The FDNY and NYPD hockey game was a little too scripted. Sean has the worse luck with women. She really was a scary kisser. Arlo confesses his love for Teddy, who then reciprocates by tossing the dwarf out. Tommy's life is turned upside down. Mickey spills the beans, the...

Good episode, Gary can't win for losing. Franco's kid is very adorable, the short scene with her and the Pittsburgh fireguy was cute. Tommy has a death wish (jumping to make the grab). What was up with Uncle Teddy and the little guy? That was strange. Uncle Teddy's "I got your low carb diet...

    RESCUE ME (ongoing discussion)

FX has been starting their shows a minute or two later than the normal starting time. I've noticed this on both "Rescue Me" and "Nip/Tuck" for the past few weeks now. I never get the previews for the next episode because of the slightly later starting times now.

I was hoping Tommy would let loose a maniacal laughter after finding out the dog died, but I think he really started to like the dog. Laura is the female firefighter. I like the way she puts out the harrassment fires. Applying Super-glue to the toilet seat was hilarious.

I finally caught up with the last 3 episodes, all of which were very funny. I had no idea Diane Farr was joining the cast (her being from "The Job" in Denis Leary's stable of actors that get work in his shows), so that was a nice surprise. Highhats, indeed. I didn't realize that was...

I stayed up late last night to watch my recording of "Revenge". Pretty funny situations (the shake-down of Roger, Tommy's booty call going psycho-arsonist, the traumatic stress group getting the riot act read to them by Lou, the tranny affair). Franco's subplot isn't that interesting so far.

Well, after that beat-down Tommy gets, I doubt he'll as magnamimous to his ex-wife Janet's plans to move the kids away. The writing is ironic since if Roger would have just taken his beating, he'd be in a far away place with Janet. Now, that's not going to be an option because Tommy's gonna be...

    RESCUE ME (ongoing discussion)

The subplots to this show so far are so all-over-the-map, but still fun to watch. Also, isn't it almost life-like how Tom can chew out his ex-wife (for wanting to move away from the northeast) and a day or two later she asks him for help with the plumbing. Obviously the ex-wife knows what a...

I buy Leary when he's in the funny sarcastic mode, but his dramatic scenes just leave me cold.

I thought some parts were funny, but the overly dramatic parts just didn't grab me so far. The soon-to-be-ex-wife is easy on the eyes. This show makes me miss "The Job" more.
