    Here are some corrections listed for the spl meter: http://www.svsubwoofers.com/faq_rscomp.htm My meter is digital, so I am not sure it would follow the same offsets.

    I have also done some reseach today about the RS spl meters. In general they are not that accurate.

    Manuel, I was thinking the same thing. I noticed a very large difference when moving the meter around the room. Especially at the lower end of things. It made a huge difference. Sometimes 5-10db or more.

    I took the readings from the middle of my room. The sub is in the corner. I would estimate that it is about 1.5 meters away. maybe a bit more. I will try again at 1 m. --pat

    20hz was 57db. I could not feel or hear it :frowning: One thing to note for me is that if I played 40hz over 85db my mitsubishi tv would rattle. Should I be worried for normal movie watching would you expect to hit 85db in those ranges? Thanks. --pat
