Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

Let me rephrase, I would be shocked he's bigger than 6'. IMDB has him listed at 6'1" but i have a hard time believing it. Josh Hartnett is list at 6'2 1/2" & he made Ford look real small in Hollywood Homicide.

Well Hayden is about 6ft.. Smits & Jackson are about 6'3". Its just poor luck.

Don't worry I did enjoy it.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

Well I saw Sith for the 4th & final time in the theater. I was the only one there :frowning:. Its still holding up. I can't wait for the DVD.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

In the current issue of Starlog. Lucas was interviewed & asked about the EU books etc.. To paraphrase, he said he's never read any of it & he doesn't know anything about it. Its a completely different universe.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

I wish Lucas would give us a Peter Jackson length version & theatrical version.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

I hope ROTS stays in the theater a few more weeks. I want to at least see it one more time, which will be #4 for me. I think the DVD release being so soon may hurt final numbers.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

But I don't think it will beat TPM with the way they are cutting down on the screens & removing it so fast from theaters.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

In the local Movie 18 its only in one small theater. I just got back from viewing #3 tonight. It was 3/4 full for the 7:05 show. Its still holding up well. I must say I'm very disappointed at the lack of stories on TV shows like Access, E! News, ET & Extra etc. The lack of TV shows/hype sucks...

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

I can't complain about McDiarmid's Sidious at all in Sith. But I always thought part of the performance that was requested of him in Jedi was a little cheesy & tone downed by Lucas as to not scare the kiddies too much.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

I just saw it for the second time. It still holds up for me :D . I was worried it wouldn't hold up as well. The TPM & AOTC didn't for me.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

Thats how it was presented in the movies, I thought. Maybe I saw a different movie than you. Or are you under too much EU influence ;). So you believe that QGJ was by a trained by a power hungry racist scum bag? I say how did he last so long in the Jedi order? Why did QGJ tell Obi to cool his...

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

Because of the POWER gained by the Darkside! How does he gain power by being a racist?

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

I'm sure we've all read tons of articles on Star Wars, but I've never found one quote where Lucas says the Empire is Racist is just like the Racist 3rd Reich. I could never find any statement like that by Lucas, but other writers in magazines etc might have throw it in there because of the 3rd...

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

Thats revisionist history. We all know why there really were no aliens in the Empire because Lucas couldn't do it with the special effects & money. People create their own ways of making everything fit like these EU authors. Whe infact it doesn't fit & there are alway going to be plot holes in...

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

I'm sorry I don't buy into a former Jedi all of a sudden becoming an alien bigot! And thats what is implied in the book. Lucas is bankrupt idea wise if he agreed to that. I never liked some of these wild EU things I've heard over the years.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

Heck there's a Statue of him in the Jedi Libary. I will have to disagree with you on Jinn that seems like EU speculation! Lucas has stated that he doesn't read the books. Now he may have on this one. If he did I'm shocked he must have run out of idea's to let this guy run with this stuff. Now...

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

I borrowed a friends ROTS audio book. After listening to part it, its obvious the Author & Lucas are not on the same page. Lucas shouldn't let these guys run with his story without strict supervision. I can't believe I'm hearing the Hitler parallels in the book & the Sith army crap, when it...

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

I'm starting to notice a trend with Star Wars fans. In the quest to know more, the discarded drafts are starting to be taken as fact. Which I think shouldn't be included as part of Star Wars final story. As I've been reading the Making of Book there are outlines of the early Drafts that thank...

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

This scene reminds me so much of The Golden Voyage of Sinbad scene with the Kali Statue & swords. It must be a Ray Harryhausen homage.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

I don't think you can compare a 1977 PG to a current PG everything started to change even before PG 13. PG in 77 allowed an arm to be cut off with blood which at that time was the difference between a G rating. Now blood is all over TV. Some of this stuff on TV would have been rated R in movies...

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

But he could have said that about AOTC & didn't so he wasn't covering his bases there. Thats because he truly believed ROTS wouldn't make as much. I guess we will just have to disagree.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

I might buy into what your saying if they just started saying it as an excuse for not being well liked & low box office numbers. But they said this many many years ago. And its not all "propaganda" Lucas doesn't need to be like Sidious to get fans in the theater. Plain & simple Lucas is not...

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

Bryan X Lets be clear here. They didn't say it wouldn't make money they said least successful of the Prequels. Which they are going to be wrong on. And I know I heard them say back in 98 or earlier that it would be too dark & the least successful of all six. Their reasoning was no repeat...

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

I can't wait until this out grosses AOTC!!! I would love it to ultimately get TPM :p). Lucas & MacCallum are probably already dumbfounded . They've stated so many times over the years that this will be the lowest grossing of all the Star Wars movies. It drove me crazy, because I felt the exact...

Chuck, I always thought it would. Sometimes Lucas doesn't seem to know what the fans want. How do u know I haven't? I've seen clips. But I'll wait for the release anyway. I want the best presentation possible & thats from a studio release IMO.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

Is it possible that Sid didn't care that much about Yoda after he lost his power & standing? If he gets him great but if he doesn't so what, he's nothing now & on the run.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

Neither Lucas or MacCallum thought it would happen.
