Well I for one am glad Sydney Pollack thought differntly and the director’s cut made for a more balanced film. The Streisand cut of course would have more of her but in this case I think “less is more.” Redford probably is tired of discussing it. Lol

I’m surprised Sydney Pollack didn’t develop an ulcer or a heart attack dealing and walking on egg shells with Streisand , Laurents and Stark all on one film! I have to agree with his decisions though it’s basically a tragic love story and we all know it’s not going to last as they keep fighting...

Just finished watching and I agree with Pollack it’s pacing is better and plays better without the leftist politics rehashed again and more Barbara close ups and which explains why Babs wanted it back in. Not much of an upgrade over the Twilight Tiime blu ray either but glad I have it for this...

Awful cover. Agree with the 2 rating, almost as bad at The Exorcist cover. Almost. Wonder if that was also Streisand’s decision as Redford’s profile is barely noticeable.
