I’ll do a MakeMKV rip of the disc and test play it via Plex. And I’ll test the DVD too. I found the disc in my cabinet. It’s from 1999 and indicates the movie is in widescreen format. But that of course doesn’t mean it’s anamorphic.

Wow, I had not realized that Apple TV+ has True Lies, I just found it there and I can play it. I just might watch it there. And I can see how it compares to the Paramount+ too. I have not explored the titles available there as I much prefer to view my own discs.
