I had to see a review for myself to see what the problem is. One site, by Mr. Tooze, graded it fairly well. His only displeasure is the rendering of the teal or blue range of color. Image was never sharp originally he notes, but more detail and image information is seen compared to earlier...

Looks great, thanks for posting the screen shots! I'm looking forward to the disc. I wonder if the Sturges audio commentary is the same or pieces taken from the Criterion disc.

I think 4 for me! :blush: One was a laserdisc from MGM with such a wide aspect ratio, you can see the end of the cooler set when Steve McQueen is bouncing his baseball against the wall.

Finally! The Criterion laserdisc had an okay cover art. I liked that the inner cover had a map of the camp. And the locations of Tom, Dick and Harry.
