There's a decent Fanflix sale on with all of the Star Trek movies and other Paramount sci-fi and there's a coupon code (PHASERS10) for 10% off your final order but don't be fooled as I was. I checked a few movies to see where they could be redeemed and they all said "Apple" and "Vudu" so I went...
The theatrical cut of Stripes is $5 on Vudu in 4K (Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos). It copies over to Movies Anywhere (HDR10 and 5.1, per Sony) but who knows if it will ever be on Apple.
Mama's Family is $29.99 and seeing that reminded me of this Onion article.

I came up with a workaround for this. I bought Deep Space Nine as a complete series and getting to season 7 is laborious. In the new Apple TV app go to "Search" and search for the title of the series. There you can select the season you want and then quickly find the episode. This worked for me...
I hope Sony updates all of their movies on the service to Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Really, one consistent master for all of the services doesn't seem like a crazy idea.
I know it's frustrating that your library isn't showing up in the AppleTV app, but I prefer watching movies using the iTunes app. It's a better user interface.
Happy Batman Day everyone! Batman: The Complete Animated Series is down to $14.99 on iTunes.

Yeah, this isn't worth the energy. I'm a fan of purchasing digitally, but the word "master" no longer has any meaning, as each retailer gets their own version it seems. This is dumb.
I'm requesting a refund on "Broken Arrow." The product page on the Apple TV app says it's 5.1. It's not. The English track is 2.0 stereo while the French track is 5.1. Vudu has it in 5.1, but it's screwed up and all of the dialogue comes out of every channel. Movies Anywhere only has this in 2.0...
On Errol Flynn's Apple TV page the poster art for "They Died With Their Boots On" is...."Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)."
Funny, I bought this on iTunes specifically to get the theatrical cut. It's tougher to get than the Director's Cut, which is the only version on Blu-ray.
