I just got my Evangelion box with first disc and second disc insert. You have no idea how happy I am now. Technically, I have 12 DVDs for Evangelion. 8 for the series, the original 1st disc, the two movies, and the first Dir. Cut disc.

No, not that. Honestly, I did consider buying that, though. A year ago, when they did the NGE Box, they also had a thing with just the box and the first disc (because some people already had the whole series) and I never bought it.

I just today bought the Remastered Vol. 1 + Box for NGE. I'm a loser.

Any idea how many discs GitS:SC will be? Any possibility of the first DVD + box thing that many series seem to be doing now?

Tony, I think the point is that it's not fair to misrepresent something that was fine to begin with. What would you do if they took something you liked and edited it for no reason in another place? What if they took some of your favorite metal songs and dubbed it over for the Japanese...

I saw an advertisement in my new EGM for the Neon Genesis Evangelion Director's Cuts. They will be on 2 discs: one called Resurrection (Episodes 21, 22, 23) and Genesis Reborn (Episodes 24, 25, 26). They're out on 1/13 and some time in March, respectively. I can't wait!

Just finished RahXephon. Have to say that it was actually a very fitting ending and I really liked it. Especially the little part after the credits.

I got RahXephon Vol. 7 and Grave of the Fireflies Collector's Series today. You have no idea how happy I am to have both.

I like RahXephon, I'm just curious as to how many times I'm going to have to rewatch the whole damn thing just to recall everything that happened. I still don't get what was going on in that episode with the 3 children.
