I was more referring to people talking about only holding discs by the edge etc. Yes of course we shouldn't be intentionally rough, but it's not like vinyl where you shouldn't ever touch it is all.

You guys do remember that BD spec calls for a special coating that makes the discs VERY resistant to scratches - they are much less fragile than DVDs
