Interesting HAL, I just never noticed the problem and I have def. looked for it. I only have a 32" Direct View (sony KV32HS420), so maybe it isn't that big of a difference on that size HDTV.

You will notice ZERO difference between 40mhz and 60mhz for Component bandwidth. I notice no difference between component thru my 1014 vs. HMDI to HDMI via my cable box to my Sony KV32HS420.

Bought mine from jandr 2 weeks ago for $399 and shipping was free. Call them up and ask them what their best price is. When I bought mine, web said it was $499 or so. Have to call to get best price.

Works fine on 811 and 522.

Was going to buy the 1014 over the next month or so, but think I will hold out for the 1015 (def. could use the 3rd. Component input). Think the amps will be same quality as the elite's (or similar to the elite's as they are in the 1014?)
