He has blown my sub and front speakers 2 times each. Cranks it up so he can hear it outside. Doesn't understand distortion and what it does to speakers.
I did give him my old Pioneer receiver and a couple of speakers.....but of course they don't sound like my setup so he still has to mess...
Oldest son is 17 and 6'4", so kind of hard to mount it out of reach ;)
New home will have a dedicated HT with a locked door but that's not for another 2 years. I'm considering putting everything in a cabinet that I can lock. The joys of parenting....
Are there any kind of "parental control" settings on this receiver.....like an access code you can program or anything like that?
I need a way to keep my oldest son from using it when I'm not home. So far I'm looking at building a cabinet to lock it in, but hope someone has a better...
