Thanks, Jake. I've ordered mine (along with the latest DL Official Album). Man, there's a lot of new tracks on that one--attractions I know very little about. I've only ever been to WDW.
Maybe it was a mistake that they posted the product page when they did...which is why it then went "out of stock" so fast and they then pulled the page. Maybe someone just jumped the gun.
I got an email from the Emporium today telling me that they had "saved my cart"--which contained Aladdin and another CD.
Yet when I logged in just now, my cart was empty.
I was pretty much doing the same thing, Jason. Packing and moving after 32 years in the same house. It's quite a challenging undertaking. One of the most all-consuming processes I've ever been through--maybe 2nd only to my near-death illness seven years ago. THAT still ranks at the top of my...
The discussion about the recorded production of Newsies at the end of its national tour back in 2017 didn't quite pan out. No blu-ray I just realized, as I sit watching the production on Disney+.
It's too bad. I'd LOVE to have one. But who could have guessed there'd ever be a D+ and a...
It's as easy as this: If you like Disney songs...and you like beautifully-arranged solo piano performances...this is a perfect CD for you.
It is definitely a mellow collection of songs/performances. I don't know who the artist is (the liner notes are in Japanese). But it is a confident and...
I had seen both of those titles were coming...but neither one interests me all that much (except maybe the Mary Poppins cast CD).
But I scored my own Disney CD today...direct from Japan. Amazingly, ordered Sunday night and delivered Tuesday afternoon! Things arrive from amazon.jp faster than...
I'm really looking forward to the doc on Howard Ashman.
It's funny you say that because I think just the opposite. I don't think the title suggests that at all. I think it's an awful title because very few people would know enough to associate "Howard" with Howard Ashman. It's not like he's...
I listened to the Matthew Morrison disc once-through last night.
I found it...bland.
I didn't find anything which stood out as very interesting...or noteworthy.
And, as Jake noted: it goes by quick.
One thing which I thought was a bad idea was grouping three particular songs in close...
I find Matthew Morrison rather uninspired most times, but will be interested to hear his take on these songs.
I hope he's got someone who can do good arrangements.
It's kinda interesting that one of his selections is When I See an Elephant Fly. That's not a song that gets a lot of play.
I got a couple new Disney CDs the other day at Barnes & Nobel.
The former is a 2018 release of acappella versions of various Disney songs. I'm rather mixed on the release itself. Although I'm a sucker for unique cover versions of Disney tunes (and I mean a sucker--I've got dozens upons...
