Yohan, 1. No different level settings for different devices. 2. 950 has discrete code to turn off. It turns on by you selecting one of the inputs; DVD, Aux1, VCR, etc. I also have a Pronto and it works perfectly. No discrete sound modes as far as I know. MY- Michael Yung
