    Fine, it's a shame they didn't drop the MAR version...or go to separate ultimate-quality movie-only releases, like DTS laserdiscs and Superbit DVDs.

    I popped the first disc in the PC and snooped around a bit. The feature itself is only 3.8GB; small enough to fit on a measly DVD-5. The extras take up a full 50% of the data on the disc. So much for the bit-budget benefit of moving the pan-and-scan to disc 2.

    Interesting on the slight overcompression. Monster's Inc was squeezed too much also, though few noticed. I was hoping that when they moved the 4:3 version to disc 2, that the first disc would be nothing but movie. None of this prevents me from buying or enjoying these titles, but I sure wish...
