BTW did anymore here get the Grant and Chinook set? I saw on facebook people mentioned they had the slip up of the wrong disc (i've had that before, and the only other instances i've seen it's always titles that will be next to one another alphabetically). Just wondering if anyone here can...

Hmmm when they said Kildare was coming in 2014 they weren't kidding. He's getting two releases back to back. So this probably completes next week's releases with the next Monogram cowboy set and the Jimmy Stewart show.

Eddie's Father, Chinook the Wonder Dog, and Fibber McGee and Molly were the soup of the day today.

Good to see more of those TNT adaptions coming out. I've gotta eventually pick some of those up. I have like fading memories of some of them, but other stuff really does come first.

That is a pretty amazing stat in fact. Being honest we (myself included) may be a little sad to hear they are taking weeks off for no releases, but at the same time, this company goes far and beyond to give us releases nearly every week of the year. It's really not that cruel of them to...

According to the twitter guy, they are doing new releases next week, and that's it for the year. They didn't take off the one holiday week earlier in the year and did Paramount releases on that day. So looks like they either are taking off early this year, or the twitter guy got confused.

Even if it makes me wrong, i applaud you actually backing up something you said. Since the last article you posted did nothing but prove they were distributor. Now that we have a definitive answer, so yes WB licensed it out to Shout Factory. Case closed and some of us were mistaken. However i'm...

I don't think Beetlejuice was ever answered in full. I remember posing the question on another site and while it appeared WB had distribution of they clearly weren't the only party involved in making it. Your creidts for it go as follows: Nelvana Geffen Film Company Tim Burton Incorporated (in...

I know who this comment is going to be addressed to but given the only animation thing from Shout Factory i have intention to own is going to no doubt be forever incomplete due to their laziness to solving rights issues, makes me laugh at the idea them getting more cartoons as a good thing...

I'd imagine that one site may be jumping the gun on it being a bad rest of 2013. I don't really think anyone should be surprised that WA with a huge library of their own with an added deal for OOP Paramounts is moving a little slower than it was before the deal. Did some people expect it not to...

I believe TBB was the last one of ones who got removed from the pre-order page from a while ago. Since WA's facebook said Space Stars was finished the other week, i think this may be the fallout of the schedule mix up, hence why some of these were available for pre-order then pulled and then to...

Here's a question i'm not sure if has ever been answered (and i don't feel like digging through their fb wall if someone here might have a better memory) What's the policy on the OOP DVDs to MOD? Has it ever been said how that works. Does every WHV OOP dvd become open ground for WA to...

With the new releases including some PMTs, how long as Let's Scare Jessica to Death been OOP? I found my copy of it just last year in FYE. Was kind of surprised to see that listed.

Yeah The Loved One and The Loved Ones are two quite different films. I've wanted to see Gummo ever since my friend made her fb banner a picture of the bunny boy. And now looks like i'll get back to it at some point.

From the way that SDCC tweeting went down it appears one of the people with access to the account was kind of tweeting references that didn't exactly make sense. Since it now appears there was at least one at each of the two panels that got people confused. However this may be a time to point...

Someone must know some fast snails. I'm just not seeing how this correlates to any reason to be jumping at brash conclusions. We've known some kind of paramount deal was coming. They've put a bunch out in two weeks, and again folks one of those weeks is one WA takes off all the time. I know...

Wasn't Medical Center Season 3 a new title just last week? Or was that a re-release too? As someone said this week is one usually WA takes off anyway. The fact they got the Paramount titles to fill in a bit where they aren't having as many releases is something to be happy about.

This sale was good for me. The two items i wanted were both on sale, so i could get them both. But i know the agonnnnnyy (full Into the Woods reference for faux dread there), of waiting for a sale and then seeing the sale type isn't the one you want. But the silver lining being they do enough of...

From this, my own and others experiences. If they tell you it's being "escalated to corporate", you typically don't get a response from corporate it just typically gets done.

Why do some people seem to be in this doomsday phase? I know some people are worried but saying within the majority of our life times, that it's going to be "if you are lucky" is just plain blowing things out of proportion. The general population isn't going to shift to phasing out of physical...

"broadcast" is a much better word that i honestly should have used. But either way point still stands the older agreements that need clearance for DVD/Blu don't plague the option to stream. While not (and probably never) officially stated, a lot of people are still leaning the major reason they are putting some of the things not on DVD yet on the streaming service is to help raise money to fix some of the problems they have to tackle before DVD release. In some cases we should...

Warner Archive Discussion Thread (The Announcements/The Films)

To be fair it's just getting started. WA DVDS are ones that WHV felt weren't worth pressing millions for brick-and-mortar. The mere fact there are WA blu-rays means WHV has also decided some blurays are also not worth making millions to go to regular stores. So by that logic those are the only...

As i mentioned before when i had a problem the rep on facebook's private messaging told me they do seem to keep a number of copies in case of inventory and quick orders on hand. More than likely they use them for big orders (like when they do the 10 sales) and just reburn to replace the stock...
