    Yes, the mostly studio-shot scenes are on videotape, and when they step outside, it looks to be film. It always struck me as a strange amalgamation of the two mediums. I couldn't count how many times I've watched Elizabeth R. My favorites are "The Lion's Cub" and "Horrible Conspiracies."
