I would love it if we could get occasional pop-ins from other regulars from The Good Wife (this is assuming the pilot would go to series). Those characters were so marvelously created and developed that you could have an almost instant world for her to work and play in.

I would certainly sample such a series, but I'm not sure it'd be as effective on a weekly basis. She was used very expeditiously in the original series.

It will also be interesting to see how the drive to reclaim the firm's black identity plays out given that the series's main character is the firm's white name partner. If Diane gets forced out, does the show follow her to whatever her next step is? I don't know, but I'll follow wherever...

The last season got interrupted by COVID-19, so the final three episodes of the season weren't filmed. That's why the ending seemed so abrupt.

I read that this morning, and I was so happy that it's happening. And I hope the other plot points covered in the three unfilmed episodes of season four will find their ways into the new season.

Because they had to end early, season four seemed incomplete and with cast members leaving, I'm eager to see if those departing hang around for the season five premiere before exiting or if they will just be gone with explanations forthcoming from others. Other shows last season had to end...
