One thing is burned in my memory concerning Paint Your Wagon: I had my first (and only, so far) car wreck coming home after seeing a matinee performance. What a nightmare that was! The film was a treat in comparison. If I get to review the disc, I'll have more to say about it then.
Absolutely. One of the truly great heist films with a modern slant to the conflicts between the participants. Tremendous performances; superb direction.

Yes, it is a memorable film. I haven't seen the whole thing in years (some individual segments have shown up occasionally on YouTube), so I'm really looking forward to a fresh viewing or five.
