    "The Mentalist" season six

Yes, it was a very enjoyable season ender, and I immediately noticed how it could have served as a series ending episode, too. Will be curious to see what this new relationship for the two of them will mean in next season's cases. Maybe we won't have to wait until midseason to see. If one of...

    "The Mentalist" season six

Yes, I was completely surprised (but very happy) about this renewal, but I'm wondering if there aren't strings attached: a shorter season, a midseason start, etc. I guess CBS will spell everything out at upfronts this week.

Looks like the former CBI all have targets on their backs. I can take it if Rigsby and Van Pelt are written off the show, but there is no reason to kill them off. That's just mean.

    "The Mentalist" season six

I enjoyed Patrick Jane 2.0. Actually, Jane wasn't really different at all, but the reboot has given him a new group of amusing characters to play with along with the always reliable Tim Kang (Kimble Cho) who was my favorite from the old group of supporting players.

    Correct. They're leaving the series.

    "The Mentalist" season six

Jane is almost always a step or two ahead, but to be fooled by Fischer (when I wasn't at all) was a BIG surprise. Obviously he has a plan if the FBI backed out on his terms (which definitely made them an entity not to be trusted). It was frustrating not to see him enact it this week.

I don't think he ever married the mother of his child. She knew he still harbored feelings for Van Pelt and Wayne now has custody of the baby so the mother seems to have drifted out of the picture.

    "The Mentalist" season six

Yes, according to the producer/creator, Red John is truly dead. In the reset, Teresa is a sheriff in the northwest, Cho is working for the FBI, Rigsby and Van Pelt have their own detective agency.

    "The Mentalist" season six

I couldn't believe Jane was taken in for a minute by that suspicious woman walking down the aisle; I certainly wasn't. But the twist was great and the resolution satisfying. Will make me want to revisit earlier seasons to see the real Red John hiding behind his mask in his episodes.

    "The Mentalist" season six

Yes, if we've learned anything over the years, it's never trust your eyes on this show. I do not believe Bertram is Red John either. It's just too simple for a show that lives on twists and turns. Next week should be something.

It didn't surprise me at all that more than one person had a tattoo. I'm still not convinced that RJ has it. That would seem to mark his followers in his "tiger, tiger" group. The one who tipped Jane off could have been lying as her last show of loyalty to her master. The next couple of weeks...

    "The Mentalist" season six

I really had never seen this episode before, but I have last season's box set on DVD and am wondering if maybe I missed another episode or two during last season. When I get some time, I'll have to start watching last season again to see what ELSE I missed!

    "The Mentalist" season six

If that was a rerun, I don't remember it at all. On the East Coast, we got the death of Wayne's father which I had never seen before. Had I missed an episode from last season?

I think he said identical, didn't he? Anyway, my supposition that he's Red John may be right after all if his twin was killed. (Or maybe the twin is Red John).

    "The Mentalist" season six

My #1 Red John suspect bit the dust last night, so I have no idea who he is. Nice to see Madeleine Hightower again.

    "The Mentalist" season six

Shocks from beginning (the first case over in the precredit sequence) to end. I do think Lisbon made a mistake even a rookie should have known better than to commit and especially since the whole matter revolved around Red John who she knows is a lethal enemy.

    "The Mentalist" season six

During Amanda Righetti's maternity leave last season, the show proved it could get along without her, but Owain would be a different story. I think with Red John being unmasked midway through the season, the show is going to morph into something different. I don't know quite how they're going to...
