I thought this was a very satisfying season/series ending show. I have been a huge fan of this show since season 1, but I think it will be difficult to continue the show without being a re-hash of Red Dawn.

Actually, I think Jake was closer to his grandfather than his father. This is very typical in the father-son-grandfather relationships. I thought it worked very well.

This episode was pretty much what I expected it to be. It was important to lay some ground work to which the proceeding episodes can expand on. I was very pleased with last night's episode.
