I recall those anti-war days very clearly. I was in college from 1967 - 1971. Most of the college guys I knew didn't burn their draft cards. They knew that staying in school would keep them out of the draft as long as they were in undergraduate school. Once you got bachelor's degree you could be...

Scenes with Patty and the Pet Shop boy were amusing. I recall those awkward early teen years. Just hilarious what she did just to go back to see him. Glad to hear they are picking this up for a 3rd season. I assumed they were going to have more "blockbuster" shows during the sweeps month of...

I am sure there is a real "showdown" brewing between Beth's Protestant family and JJs Catholic family as to whether Beth keeps the baby or not. The scenes at the swimming pool were handled very nicely. It is nice to see that Patty was standing up against the jerk lifeguard she seemed to like...

Even though the Simon & Garfunkel album Bookends wasn't released until the spring of 1968, I thought the song from this album was a great song to appear in this show and very appropriate for the scenes it appeared. I thought it was odd, though, that they played the Jackie DeShannon's version of...

I really liked how Pete tricked Will into leaving the car without his crutches. I was also impressed that the music played on this episode were songs popular in 1965, the year the show is supposed to be taking place. This is evidenced by the sign for the American Bandstand show, AB 65. I...

It looks like my prophecy in post #56 sort of is coming true. At least it looks like Henry will be free from of the Pryors. I really like this show but the continuity errors in songs really bugs me, since I vividly remember the songs that were popular during this time period. I thought this...

Last night's episode was very good. I got chills when they started playing Like A Rolling Stone. This was a very appropriate choice of music to end the show. I won't speculate on any of the future episodes, except I think Rox and the record store guy will get involved together.

Another great episode except for a blatant continuity error. Eric Clapton actually quit the Yardbirds before they released the song For Your Love. Anyway back to the episode, I thought it was very touching that JJ's dad call him Jack as he left. A very significant moment in their relationship.

This is definitely one of the best TV shows on network. With a glut of criminal investigator and so called reality shows, this is a "breath of fresh air". I have finally stop looking for the continuity errors, like songs in the wrong year or the fact that by the fall of 1964 American...
