    Dance Fools Dance was on laserdisc in the "Crawford and Gable" boxed set. As I recall it looked only marginally better than the VHS. I'll plunk down cash to see pretty much ANY 1930s film transferred from the OCN, especially pre code. Count me in for this one.

    Agreed. Speaking of generational shifts...I have younger friends who just cannot make it through a studio-era film... and not because of them being B&W or "boring"....it's the passive woman/macho man dynamic of many of them sends them running for the exit. And racial elements? Forget it...

    This is a good time for a sale. Just bought 8 titles...i have the big projection screen up and am just having all-day, quarantine film festivals here in my NYC apt for me and my dog...i was happy to add 8 classic films I hadn't seen yet.
