I think it's all (mostly) good to know. Just consider them all evidence to be factored in w/ appropriate weightings. However, one shouldn't lose sight of one's actual goal in all this. It's not good to miss the forest for a lone tree (or two). And yeah, I guess somethings are indeed better not...

While I agree that sometimes the nitpicking can become excessive, I'd think how much any particular issue bothers each individual will vary. We all just don't experience these movies in exactly the same ways, to the same degrees, etc. etc. Some of us will find certain tiny flaws distracting...
