Thanks Sebastian. My wife already thinks I play movies to loud. I don't think it would be worth it for me to buy anything better than the $350 10" Titan sub kit at Parts Express. Maybe even just go with the DLS. Although the Titan is smaller.

My more specific question is what frequency 25Hz, 20Hz, etc, make up the last octave? If the DLS 10 will go to 26Hz what is the bottom octave? How expensive of subwoofer would I have to buy? Espescially considering I really don't want more than a 14" or 15" cube. Maybe a couple more inches in...

More rookie questions. What's spl mean? Is a Y-splitter something you pick up at a Radio Shack? If it's what I think it is, if I split the signal right out of my LFE out on my reciever, then do I buy normal RCA R/L audio cable to go to the sub, or do I run separate single cables to each jack on...

Thanks for the advice Jose, and who is Brian? One other thing I forgot to mention about either sub is the size. I really don't want anything bigger than the $350 sub kit. It's 14.5"x14.5"x14.5". Also, what does the Y-splitter do?
