My apologies for the inadvertent thread fart. Since the format is new I couldn't help to express my opinion. In the future I will restrict my comments to those threads that are about the D-VHS format specifically. In these types of review threads I will keep my comments to the topic at hand.

Yes let's hope this pushes the release of HD-DVD to a quicker pace. While I would love to have the D-VHS image quality there comes a point where one has to decide if adding another format is worth it. Knowing HD-DVD is going to be available in a couple of years I'm willing to wait this out...
