Seem nowadays we're not seeing any new colorization efforts from Legend Films or West Wing Studios (the folks who colorized some Three Stooges Shorts). Checked and both studios appear to be still operational complete with samples of their work (West Wing).
Any news of a possible Blu release of the </dirty word ahead> Colorized version of the Alastair Sim A Christmas Carol (1951)?
In the meantime I'll be seeking out the nearest brickbat shelter.
On a related tack, the George C. Scott version which I purchased back in early November for $7.99 is now going for $24.89. Guess the time to get Christmas films cheaply is over till after Christmas.
I'm going thru this thread page by page to get caught up and find the exact posting mentioning possible RAH involvement. I know I saw it.
You are correct in saying that RAH would not be involved in any colorization. I was referring to the existing colorized version.
And no, I've never seen a UFO.
Brad here: OK all you jokers on Amazon and HTF have done it again as I have purchased the VCI Blu of this version if "A Christmas Carol" to go with the George C. Scott version I just got.
Looks like this package includes both the B&W and colorized editions.
Looking forward to a joyous...
