I can’t wait to see his review of the meteor sequence. One part is just so blasted dumb, the reviewer might want to pull his eyes out of their sockets.
For those who would love some movie review laughs, The Agony Booth is featuring this lampooning of TBH . Excellent movie review read:

Keep in mind that since DMC is a members only club and only members can purchase from DMC, they can easily ascertain which members purchased TBH and easily mail out replacement discs automatically iron request.
Per thedigitalbits.com, Disney Movie Club just announced a fix for the overture problem on The Black Hole Blu-ray.
New discs should be available starting October 14th.
Well folks, the Blu-ray release of TBH is out on the market and of course the Blu-ray has some quirks & problems which have been duly noted in the DMC thread. The two biggest problems being discussed are (to refresh ones memory) are:
1. Overture not in correct place and almost inaccessible...
Now that is what I was hoping for but I won’t be complaining on what we are getting.
Imagine TBH79 in a true glorious 4K presentation. How exquisite the zero gee wires holding up VINCENT and Old BOB would look on my new 75” Viz Quantum :D. Why you might be able to make out the individual...
FINALLY!!!
Coming August 13th I believe.
@Ronald Epstein : Request that you modify the title of this thread to

Gotta chime in favor of the floating robots as well. But then again, I actually liked Jar Jar Binks so my opinion doesn't count for much on this one. Do agree on the Irwin Allen feel. And hope springs eternal for a Blu.
Well folks, here's one from the space-faring Imagineers at Disney (back in 1979 anyway). It is Disney's The Black Hole. There is a DVD available (I think) which has decent PQ but oh how this movie would look on Blu.
Be nice to have a commentary from Anthony Perkins and Yvette Mimieux...
