Great, just what I was so looking forward to, a UHD release of Star Trek, Into Dorkiness. The least Paramount could do is also release on UHD a directors cut of the film JJ stole...err...was inspired by, STII- TWOK.

Just wish that axiom applied to the home media releases of The Brady Bunch. I am enjoying my ShagCarpet DVD Set but the PQ leaves a little to be desired. C'mon Paramount, make a UHD remaster & UHD Blu release of ST 1-6. (I'll go one better and say 1-7) happen.

I sure hope you're right on this as I have refrained from purchasing ant ST TOS movies on Blu until the true 50th rolls around next year.

They were around $45 or so when first released. I waited and got my set at WalMart for $14.99 about 8 years ago. I don't know if ST-TAS would benefit from a Blu release image quality wise. Maybe enough so they look half decent on a big screen. I'll leave that to those more informed on...
